Players needed: 4 per table
Rounds to play before Banner: 2   There is No Banner since its a Monthly Contest
Approx. Time: 30-45 minutes per round
Game Settings: Manual Fives, 1 Pawn Out, NO Blockades

Battle of the Sexes or BOSP is a little bit Pard-Chisi & a little bit PRO
You will play like Pard-Chisi except your pard MUST BE the same gender as you & points are taken like PRO PARDS

Remember: You are trying to win points for yourself above all else.
If you are playing on a Female/Male table then you are ALSO trying to also win points for your gender.

Each table will consist of 2 Females & 2 Males sitting opposite each other.   When the game is over, Neptunes Report will let host.

PLEASE REMAIN ON THE TABLE so the host can get a TOTAL Pawn Count from EACH team.  Once host gives you Round 2 seating instructions, then you may leave your Round 1 table.

The gender group with the most points at the end of the month will get seat choice in the FINAL BATTLE.

The FINAL BATTLE consists of the TOP 4 Female & Males & the pard of their choice playing 2 rounds.   Most pawns wins.  If tied, scores are used to break tie.

The gender who wins that months' Final BATTLE of the SEXES gets bragging rights for the next month!!

Current points can be viewed under the Monthly Stats link above.

IMPORTANT !!    IMPORTANT !!
On a perfect ocean, there would be an even amount of Mermaids & Mermen.  Since there isnt, SS Wham Bam will be using our own proven point system:

There will be 3 Genders Groupings - Male, Female, & Unisex.   Once the Male/Female groups are full by "First Come/First Seated", anyone else entering will go into the Unisex group.   There is no benefit or disadvantage in being in the Unisex group over the other 2.   This is strictly to keep things fair for everyone in an uneven situation.

So each tourney, every player is playing (no matter what group) to make the TOP 4 for for their own game.

How it  works..
The FIRST Males AND Females who enter the tourney will play each other.    This will be on a First Come/First Seated basis.   You may NOT enter the tourney with a pard unless your pard is in the room & available (not still playing in PRO.)    NO TBA's !!    Your pard must be the same gender as you.

Lets say after a Battle, the 12 males made a TOTAL of 37 pawns in the Home Triangle.  Their opps of 12 females made 31 pawns & the Unisex group made 41 pawns.
The Male group wins for the night.   Even thou the Unisex group had more total pawns - they cant win as its a mixed group.   ONLY Male or Female can win.

Instead, the 41 points that the Unisex group earned gets applied to BOTH the Male & Female Points as shown below.

FEMALE MALE
  31   37
UNISEX +41 +41
  --   --
  72   78

Our point system wont change the gender who won, but it will let those who missed being on a FEMALE/MALE table to still participate in the Battles.
Its flexibility also allows for the different pards a player may have from battle to battle but yet still giving everyone the same opportunity to be in the FINAL FOUR.

No matter what group you are in, whatever points your Team makes, each pard on the team is given the same as shown below.
